Dr. Peter McGraw

Dr. Peter McGraw directs The Humor Research Lab (HuRL), is the author of Shtick to Busi­ness, is the co-author of The Humor Code, and hosts the pod­cast I’M NOT JOKING. McGraw’s work has been cov­ered by Har­vard Busi­ness Review, Wall Street Jour­nal, The New York Times, TIME, NPR, BBC, and CNN. As a mar­ket­ing and psy­chol­o­gy pro­fes­sor, he teach­es grad­u­ate cours­es in behav­ioral eco­nom­ics and mar­ket­ing man­age­ment for the Uni­ver­si­ty of Col­orado Boul­der, Uni­ver­si­ty of Cal­i­for­nia San Diego, and Lon­don Busi­ness School. 

Dr. Caleb Warren

Dr. Caleb War­ren thinks, writes, and teach­es as an Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor of Mar­ket­ing at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Ari­zona. He thinks about what makes things fun­ny, what makes things cool, and what helps peo­ple reach their goals. He writes about these ideas in aca­d­e­m­ic jour­nals, includ­ing the Jour­nal of Con­sumer Research, Jour­nal of Mar­ket­ing, Jour­nal of Per­son­al­i­ty & Social Psy­chol­o­gy, and Psy­cho­log­i­cal Sci­ence. He teach­es con­sumer behav­ior, dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing, and writing.

Dr. Adam Barsky

Dr Adam Barsky has been plan­ning on doing many of the things in Dr McGraw’s Bio but has not got­ten around to writ­ing a book or start­ing a pod­cast. How­ev­er, as an Asso­ciate Pro­fes­sor of Man­age­ment and Mar­ket­ing at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Mel­bourne, he has pub­lished exten­sive­ly on the inter­sec­tion of lead­er­ship, ethics, humor and emo­tions in out­lets includ­ing Psy­cho­log­i­cal Bul­letin, Jour­nal of Man­age­ment, Jour­nal of Con­sumer Research, and Per­son­al­i­ty and Social Psy­chol­o­gy Review. He is an award-win­ning teacher who spe­cial­izes in expe­ri­en­tial learn­ing in Nego­ti­a­tions, Con­flict Res­o­lu­tion and Entrepreneurship.
